The problem isn't so much to decide if you are following the path. Its just a sqrt(dxi^2 + dxj^2 + ...) equation, showing that the square of the distance between measured point and track is low for a couple of consecutive points.
 I am not familier but is it possible to compare yintercepts of two linear data sets? .In the present senario its a kind of coordinate system divided 180degree and 90degree as you already know. -Ap  |
