I did!
 I managed to get a "blinky" working. My aim, as you might have guessed from this thread was to get a USB host working. I wrote a test app, but found that the board needed a firmware update for it. That meant soldering some headers onto the board & making up a cable - but then I ran out of time! To be continued... Jan Waclawek said:

If all you want to do is flash a LED, I see no advantage over a "traditional" devkit, compiler, etc. The advantage, I think, would come with doing more "complicated" stuff like the USB Host, file systems, networking, etc... An unexpected benefit was that the start that it gave me in C# helped me recently write a demo HTTP server (on a PC) for a paying job... :-) Edit: Note that the "Fez" board that you mentioned is the more recent successor to the USBizi that I actually have.  |
