There's another free core here.
Along the same lines (sort of), here are some guys that will sell you an 8051 emulator that runs on a PicoBlaze! That seemed like kind of a bizarre idea to me, but they claim it gives reasonable performance while using only about a third as much of the FPGA that a "traditional" (you know, the kind you drag out for holiday dinners) 8051 core would. -- Russ |
