#147610 - Real meaning of Stack ? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Well I also have been wondering for long on the meaning of this Stack buisness. And then read a document which generally said that maybe it is because the way the OSI layers are implemented - like Andy said here.
You come across TCP/IP stack, Zigbee stack etc. Can we draw an anology to the stack like this : - PC #1 has built in BlueTooth. - PC #2 does not have have it and needs an external USB dongle for BlueTooth connectivity. So the first PC has the BlueTooth "stack" and the second does not have it ? Raghu |
