#138482 - what programmer? Responding to: ???'s previous message |

As i mentioned rs232 programmer is a parallel programmer without isp. What I need is an isp. Sorry i should have mentioned it clearly. What is that parallel programmer? Any link? Just curious - maybe it could be adopted to ISP? What says the manufacturer? Nandhu Kumar said:
I bought both usb to parallel convertor & usb to rs232. As for as parallel convertor all of the programmers does not accept the port (because they are virtual ports i think). The trouble with usb-to-parallel is, that it enables only to connect a PRINTER, not to manipulate the "parallel-end" of it pin-by-pin. There IS a notable exception, an USB-to-parallel convertor which enables truly the operation of those "programming software" utilising true-LPT: http://www-user.tu-chemnitz.de/~heha/bas...ex.html.en . (I did not test it just seen on the net). JW |
