...and I hoped this thread would certainly avoid the flames... :-)
I've seen a true jet once - it was a single nozzle spitting out ink drops. It contained a HV source to charge the drops and then they passed between two pairs of plates -> electrostatic deflection. Ink was supplied in a huge bottle, several litres, so it lasts for quite a while... Sorry I don't know the manufacturer of the "printer" itself. It was part of a complex equipment so the manufacturer of that would not help. JW |
