what I have is an extracted/created component file for ORCAD and that basically is my 'preferred component list'. If i need a component not there I add or move it there.
In parallel I have an excel parts list with the same components, so to make a BOM, just delete what is not used and add the designators (in the template they are the parts names in the ORCAD list). Erik |
