The memory map a little bit confusing, especially the naming of it. At least to me. I looked at other companies implementation of Modbus, and they are quite proprietory. For example, for a pressure sensor they will allow a customer to get pressure reading and set an offset using some command code, and that's about it. No mentioning of any coils or registers.
