**Disclaimer** I know nothing about measuring tyre temperatures!
Would it not be possible to have a device that fitted *inside* the tyre (ie in the air space) that measured the temperature of the inner tyre surface, and then transmitted that data through the tyre wall? I know there would be problems with balance, but not insurmountable ones, surely. It would also need to be extremely rugged... |
