| at least for PL/M 196 if I remember correctly.
 I remember using PL/M on an 80196 about 1994 and there had been no updates on the 80196 version of the compiler for a while. This was a problem because I encountered two bugs (one to do with saving context in IRQ and the other I think initializing the upper word of a 32 bit variable). No way to get a fix. Particularly annoying because the compiler carried a high price tag. Also Intel was considered a major (->save) player and seemed to be profitable. I liked the language PL/M much better than C though. |
