| Isn't a Pseudo Instruction different from a Directive?
 eg, Keil has a "JMP" pseudo instruction that may generate an AJMP or LJMP opcode as appropriate. Thus such a pseudo instruction does generate executable code - as opposed to a Directive, which doesn't. Maybe different assemblers just use different terminology for these things? |
