| Dear Friends [ specially Kai ],
I remember Kai telling LDOs dont like complex loads. I am planning to use LM2937 & LM2990 in an application. Does this complex has anything to do with the ESR of output capacitor which is specified as maximum few ohms [ 3Ohms for LM2937 ]. What are the traps and tricks with using these LDOs. I am planning to use them for feeding an opamp with +5V and -5V in following manner. and also a separate LM2935 for micro. ---LDO---10uF at LDO ----- --- 47uF electrolytic || 100nF ---->100E + 6 hole ferrite --->47uF aluminum electgrolytic || 100nf --->OpAmp/micro. Can the above ldos work with mentioned configuration. Thanks & Regards, Prahlad Purohit |
