what Erik said, how does HR give a SOFTWARE test?
Anyway, I've taken and given some tests that pertained to S/W. In the former, some tests are good, others are not -- surprise :) In the latter, all I'm trying to do is see if the applicant is able to do what their resume says they can do. Not perfectly mind you, not even running/compilable, it's pretty easy to see if someone can code or not. Most of the interviews that I do though are more about personality. You have to fit in with the group, anywhere you go. |
