I also want to dig this area, if I type FPGA and VHDL on Amazon, too many books to choose.
Lattice has freeware and you can use 3 formats: schematic captute, abel and is it verilog or VHDL (one of them). If you are starting from absolute scratch do a very simple schematic capture, just to familiarize yourself with the rest of the setup. Then do a few Abel things that will give you the feel for logic capture and then finally get to the more difficult stuff VHDL/verilog Erik |
