please don't take my comments personally. I just wanted to point out to Jeroen a couple of things - and your short example just came handy... I am sorry, if it offended you, believe me, it was never my intention to do so. In fact, you and others are probably absolutely right - it is the best practice to save/restore psw and acc and avoid using registers (while not changing register banks - but that's another nontrivial issue) in interrupt service routines.
