Yep this is the idea I was looking for.
but I can't seem to get it to run properly. A couple of typos that the assembler caught, fixed those. ( "JB F0 KO1" changed to "JB F0,KO1", "PUTCHAR: JNB TI PUTCHAR" changed to "PUTCHAR: JNB TI,PUTCHAR", "GETCH: JNB RI GETCH" changed to "GETCH: JNB RI,GETCH", passed the compiler) So when I get it loaded, and try to run it I get "a" on the screen then it just locks up. my development board has a 2764 and a 2864 so i can load code over the serial port then just flip a switch and run it. I'm curious if the "mov p0,0ffh" and "mov p2,0ffh" are messing up the program, or even wiping it out? Don't know enough about this environment yet ! |
