#98249 - 89C2051 and LCD |
Hello Guys
I am new on this forum and have recently started working with microcontrollers. I have lately been reading most of the posts on forum just to get my head around things. After reading quite few posts I have couple of questions regarding my project, if you guys could please comment on. 1) Is it okay to run/drive LCD from microcontroller pins directly ? would microcontroller be safe in this arrangement? 2) The port which will be connected to LCD, is it ok to initialise that as '00' and then send 8 bit data for LCD. or that port like others has to be initialised as high for micro safety. Many thanks James Cena |
