If you want to change only data, you need some EEPROM on chip.
no, he don't, if more than a page of flash is left over, and the "refresh" is not enormous, it is perfectly OK to use part of the code Flash for non-volatile storage. I have user replacable tables stored in the upper 64k of a f122, it works beautifully. Also, if, indeed, he needs EEPROM, there is no reason it has to be "on chip". Erik |
