but you didn't answer my question. How long we gotta wait till you retire, my parts will be here soon. I think we could get Kai to help you, but I'm afaid of some of the equations he posts.
I hope you will have to wait a long time, I plan to stay active as long as possible. u51? I could, of course, compose a lesson or two, however proofing homework from who knows how many would be a drag. I have a suggestion, however. Say every Friday someone (Craig, Steve, Kai, Andy ....) post (at the u51 site - not here - this idea is not for it to be a discussion) a problem for all "students" to work out and the following Friday the "right" solution is posted. That way those that are interested can wrestle with a problem one of us have tackled in the past and later see one (hopefully great) solution. As an example I could post the puzzle: using 74HC chips at digi-key one off prices, what is the cheapest solution to the equation !(A * (B + C)) the expression is boolean, not arithmetic (* = AND, + = OR). Then next week I could post my solution ($0.29) and all participants could grade themselves. Erik |
