The thing is, I have always imangined filters to be usefull in AC applications, at it responds to frequency. So how will filters (used to impliment intergration and differentiation) be used in DC applications? I am aware that a DC pulse is "made up" the addition of harmonics, is the trick that I am failing to see?
frequency - delay are two things affected by the same things. If you feed AC to a RC the cutoff frequency drops, if you feed a DC "step" to a RC filter, it will be delayed. Erik |
