I am now doing the project which use the 80552 microcontroller to interface to the ide hard disk....the problem features is there got more i/o port to connect the eprom and ram ....also the output port ...but the problem is there are only 1 port available for the data transfer ....ide hard disk alsways use 16 bits data transfer ...slow process when 8bits data transfer ....how i am going to connect the the i/o port to the 16bits data transfer line in the ide ?????can somebody help me ???
