True, but the idea of closing a thread seems like drastic measure to shield [B]ME[/B] from someone who is not acting professional. As a forum user (providing feedback), [B]I[/B] don't need anybody to censor unprofessional material. I am professional enough to choose what material I want to readparticipate in. If I don't want to get involved in politics, then I would skip the content and move on.

I think the act of not censoring discussion in itself is a more professional approach than spoonfeeding content. In other words, I think people on an internet can self-police without the need for shutting down threads.

Just my opinion, but again it doesn't make much difference to me in any event. Not much will get me riled up =/
