You can use the KBI (keyboard interrupt) on the LPC9xx family (and others)
AND The Ports are "Quasi Bidirectional". No Data direction register like the PIC. Statement 2 is true for traditional '51 derivatives and in one configuration for the LPC9xx; However the LPC9xx port pins can be configured to Quasi-bidirectional/push-pull/input only/open drain. M<any of the newer derivatives (Philips, SILabs and more) have configurable ports. Erik |
