#95990 - Extended USB interface Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I don't think there is any easy way to make USB work at 600 meters. USB can be extended upto some 100 feet +. Search for USB extender in google and you will find lot of extenders.
What are you trying to do? Access control? IDentification? Verification? I have found these standalone fingerprint identification modules very suitable for such applications. These devices also provide you digital signal as "Verified/not verified" etc so that you can interface your micro and LCD for user interface. http://www.nitgen.com/eng/products/fim01.htm Of course you can communicate to this unit on ethernet, RS-485 etc. |
