I am trying to interface a VS1001K ( mp3 decoder, working at 3.3 Volt) with a AT89S52-24PC
Neither of which are TTL 4. I am not able to find a 74LVC245 here in this part of INDIA ( MUMBAI) I can understand that since that device does not exist. Have you tried to get a 74LVC4245 which is made by, at least, Philips and TI. Anyhow for 3.3V output to 5V input 74HCT at 5V is perfect, just have a look at the datasheet. For reliable 5V to 3.3V you will need to jump through hoops or use the 74LVC4245. Anyhow, why not just use a 3.3v '51 derivative such as a P89LPC... Erik |
