I have two datasheets of FM24CL16 - one is dated April/2001, marked "preliminary" and states 10^12 cycles; the other is dated Feb/2002 and states unlimited cycles. The technology is obviously evolving.
It is interesting that while more companies have been developing the technology, as far as I know only Ramtron succeeded in getting real devices to street. Another interesting fact is, that Ramtron is fabless and the parts are actually manufactured by Fujitsu... David Smith said:
