The possible idea may be to put RS485 tranceiver into plug (D-SUB 9) of a network. It may require a small PCB inside the plug and the only problem is to provide the power for it. If main PCB is not a subject of changes then, I think, two wires from power lines to free pins of XS may help with it as well. Of course it is not good idea, but if nothing else... Regards, Oleg |
