the battle about "software patents" rages on, we don't know if it gets through in Europe, but I wouldn't want to take chances, especially that -this- is the kind of law that works retrospectively, that is if we accept the "International" (in fact US) patent base, suddenly programs that used to be legal, stop being so. |
