I forgot rc4 is a stream cypher so it looks basically like the xor method but its far more secure as long as you discard the first 256 btes of encryted data as there is a known weakness in the pseudo random number generator which could possibly give somone a headstart if they wanted to crack it,there is also a known weakness in the key scheduler but unless you are sending vast amounts of data then its not going to matter. |
