I think your idea will work. I have done similar routine, but using only one bit as a POF flag. Sometimes when you working around the problem and you are working alone, you cannot see, that you are making something wrong. You are right Oleg - the special sequence as a flag should work.
In this moment I cannot change the microcontroller. In the future design I am going to switch to Philips RD2 and I will use optional IRAM. Also RESET and POWER FAIL signalizing circuits will be different. But now I have to solve existing problem with about 30 ready to use mainboards. So thank you and now let me work! ;-) I will check "sequence as a flag" idea. Jacek |
