Thanks for the replay; it appears that I had assumed correctly about its operation. However, what about the TI CD74HCT238? It does not have a strobe input, but rather three different enables. If I am reading the truth table correctly, do I simply set enable E3 when I have transmitted the highs to set the desired output? Essentially making it function like the Strobe on the 4-to-16? |
