For designs where I dont really need Low Drop Out performance I use LM317. Since its cheap and readily available and can give higher currents.
In cases where I really need Low Drop out performance I use MC78LC33 it gives upto 50mA current is cheap and suitable for smaller designs. Regards, Prahlad Purohit |
