#91453 - Bigger and Better 89CXX/89C2051 pgm'er Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Daniel,
The latest 89CXX/89C2051 programmer can be seen at this address. http://www.sunrom.com/projects/...ammer.html. They provide everything you need (Schematic, Drivers, Hardware) to build this programmer yourself or from their kit (http://www.sunrom.com/store/ima...g_LRG.jpg) they sell for about $60. You can buy their printed circuit board for $8 which can save you a lot of trouble building this thing. sunrom 89CXX newest Programmer
The software (ProLoad V2.1) to program the 89CXX/89C2051 can be downloaded from this site. http://www.sunrom.com/products/proload_v2.1_-_mcu_program_loader.html The software is smart enough to recognize the chip when you insert it into the socket. Very impressive. ProLoad V2.1 software
The firmware software for the 89C52 is written in SDCC or Keil and is open source which means you can change it to suite your needs. I build this programmer and posted a schematic at this site. http://members.aol.com/cpu8052/writer2.gif They sell a preprogrammed 89C52 IC for $8 in case you don't have a programmer yourself. This is a very good programmer. Hope this helps Regards, Charles Bannister
