I have always considered it a goof that Philips did not make chips available to the small guys to train them to use Philips when they grew big.
As far as I am concerned, DigiKey is our source for prtotype parts and I have been able the get the Philips parts for protos by "sampling" but getting it all from DigiKey in one box is soooo much easier. Erik |
