1. Don't write 80h to PCON - bits 4 and 5 do stuff, and need leaving set (Winbond won't tell you what). PCON is not bit addressable, so you need to bring it to the ACC and set ACC.7/SMOD before moving back to PCON. You could 'orl PCON,80h' of course.
2. No need to write to TL1 - you're in mode 2 - 8-bit auto reload from TH1 only. 3. Writing -6 or -12 to TH1 will give 4800 or 2400Bd |
