#89670 - digital and analog. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Rob and Erik,
The mass spec I built for my dissertation didn't use a µ-controller, though I did interface it to a pc for operation. I used analog electronics for the first version, and I switched to digital electronics for the final version. The final version's calibration curve, a least squares fit, produced an R^2 figure of merit (of linearity) with five 9's (0.99999). Nonetheless, in the mass spec I'm currently developing I really have no choice but to use a µ-controller. |
