#89347 - RTC program with 7-segment LED ? |
According to the software-based realtime clock in this website, HOURS, MINUTES, SECONDS are stored using 1 byte(8bits) for each variable. I'm trying to display HOURS, MINUTES, SECONDS using LCD display. However my simulator is having problem initializing the LCD. I posted this a while ago and it's now confirmed that the code is not wrong, it's my simulator that is causing problem. So now I'm turning to 7-segment LED display which each input bit determines where the 'segment' will be lighted. I wonder is this even impossible? Forexample, MINUTES composed of 8bits and can be ranged from 0 to 60. Can this 8bits be the inputs of 7-segment LED and still show the correct output by anychance? Thank you ^_^ |
