#822 - 89S8252 troubles |
Hi there,
I have a problem using the EEPROM of the 89S8252. I have a circuit that detects powerdown (MAX691) an generates an interrupt. In the ISR I want to store 16 bytes in EEPROM. A large capacitor on Vcc holds the 5V for about 0.5 second. When I write in EEPROM, sometimes it happens that a couple of bytes in PROGRAM MEMORY ARE CHANGED !!! (mostly the same locations f.e. 0xfe). I can understand that maybe the EEPROM data is corrupted but never the program memory (the flash part of the 89S8252) Programming the loc bytes has no effect. Does anybody has the same problem ? |
