#796 - FLASH Programming for P89C52 ? |
H All,
I am presently working with a Phillips P89C52 (8KB of Flash). My application requires that 4 bytes being preserved even if the system is powered down. The P89C52 is said to be "parallel programmable". Is there any way to write a few bytes to Flash? Does parallel programming means that this chip can only be written to with a programmer? Basically, is there any options besides adding to the design a small I2C chip which will provide me with some storage? Thanks in advance for the answers ... Daniel , Montreal. |
