its not a question, which sex you are, only if you have fun to rule over all bits and bytes of your micro :-) A good example to start is a crystal clock, using the crystal of the micro. At first you can build it with 2 or more keys to set the time and 4 or more 7-segment LED-displays to show it. Then there are a wide range to grow up and give you stuff for years. E.g. adding: - deviation correction - date - weekday calculation - leap year - daylight saving - holiday calculation - alarm time - alarm melody generation - power fail operation - ... Also a lot of applications can be based on it. E.g. time controlled access to a door, ... Please think, what you can do also, depending from time and date. Peter |
