I'm currently trying to connect an Atmel 89s8252 to a A/D converter called ADC0848 from National Semiconductors. I connected CS to ground, R/W to PORT3 and Data lines to PORT1. I connected the ADC0848 once to the DSP56002 from Motorola and it was no problem to read out the data from it. But the 89s8252 seems to fail reading data from the ADC0848. However, sending data to the ADC0848 succeeds (because the ADC0848 generates an interrupt signal on its INTR line after a succesfull A/D conversion). I just don't understand why I can't read anything from the ADC0848. HELP ME!!!!
