The 8051, version 8951 is of the flash variety. FLASH is not a type of RAM. FLASH is a type of ROM that can be erased in, you guessed it, a flash. About 2 sec or so. The type of RAM on this microcontroller is SRAM and looses its memory upon reset or power-up.
