It depends upon the style of package your 87C52 is in. If it has a window in it, erase it in a standard EPROM eraser.

If, however, it has no window, it is a one-time-program unit and it cannot be erased. I share your frustration in that the manufacturers have mostly discontinued the eraseable parts, making software debugging and small-lot prototyping difficult on a limited budget.
