I am using the Asling CTS51 emmulator system for a project. The circuit has the DS12887 as the only external memory device. CS_ is connected to ground, AS to ALE ,R/W to WR ,DS to RD and of course AD0 to AD7 is connnected to port 0.
I have been using movx A.@r0 to read ftom the Dallas, I looked at ALE, RD and WR with a logic analyser and they were fine but the there seems to be a problem with the data bus.
When the movx commad is excuted the address in r0 appears in the Accumulator.
I am in college on the Easter break so there is no one here to give me a hand.
Any help would be great.
