#277 - RE: ATTENTION: NO PIRACY! |
I agree, If you need the tools buy them. The 8051 is so poplular in most cases you can d/l Free software or sharware that does the job. I remember when I first looked at your simulator and wasn't sure it would fit my needs (my project was already larger than you allowed) you sent me an unlock code to evaluate it on the program I was working on.. I was very happy to pay the registration fee with that level of confidence (I feel you product is worth much more than you charge) For Real Time debugging I use a Signum Systems ICE but I find I use your product much more that this expensive box. Also High Priced doesn't necessarily mean High POWERED.. Look at AD2500 assembler its not worth the money... you get most of the features using a Free Metalink assembler.. (just small changes in code from as-31 another good free product)
I have a suggestion for your next version of your software, allow loading of a custom opcode table (for scrambled opcodes same functions but different hex value) and maybe a hook to add new/modified instructions to you disassembler (signaled by the code table) make it where someone could write a DLL or external APP that your program can pass parameters so custom instructions or new processors taht you dont suport yet) also with a standard interface new internal SFRs can be supported |
