I am trying to make timer 1 on a dallas 80c520 into a counter, and timer 0 a counter. I have set TMOD to 51H and TCON to 50H. When I toggle P3.5 on the simulator, nothing happens. I tried the same program on the chip, and I have had no success. Does anyone have some suggestions?
