#1950 - RE: Also: why 8051/8052??????? |
Hi
In our local Punjabi language, we call "Badshah Lok" meanings people like king, or Gurus/masters. I met and spoke to many many people, and found most "Badshah Lok" says that 8051 architecture is the most balance MCU they have ever used. And one thing which is beyond the control of any of us is the "Setting the Standard". Though I have seen, the early F-16 fighter aeroplains internal control was handled by 5xZ80 cpu. But it was in early 80s, and they are designed in 70s. Alexender the Great was also a great King, but it was once upon a time. Today we can remember the alexender and admire him, but would have to deal with Clinton, Viladimir Putin, or Tony Blair. None of them is Alexander the Great. Time have changed, no one can control it. Honestly, I admired Z80 a lot and was thinking that, whenever I start making my project I will use Z80, and I use to argue with our teachers in university, because we had 6800, 6502, 8080 and 8085 in our sellabes and not Z80. But after 15 years, when I am really doing my project I am using 8051. Rauf / Microlink |
