First generation mC of Intel was 8048 the second edition was 8049 with double RAM and ROM (they have the same architecture).
8051 has different architecture from 8048,49, a better instruction set and a full duplex UART.
2nd edition of 8051 is 8052 with larger ROM and RAM but with the same architecture (and instr. set)
