Best is probably to store the data in a zip, arj, zoo or whatever that already contains crc16 or crc32 for the internal file contents.
Several archive formats supports uncompressed store, which can make it easier for a microcontroller to scan through the file contents without the huge memory requirements needed for decompressing any data. |
