i had the same problem of getting mfc71.dll not found. i searched for the file found it in some folder in my computer . copied the file and pasted it to c/windows/system32 it worked
and the LP studio now opens but i cannot load new project as LOAD button is disabled.
i am not having serial port on my laptop but is it neccesary for just creating new project???
i have just started with LP studio it seems many problems will be faced before i get it right
